Andy Mercy | Founder and CEO

Andy oversees the vision and strategy of AngelPoints. Before founding AngelPoints, Andy led business development for a software company that was acquired by InfoSpace in 2000. From 1997-1999, Andy worked with the Corporate & Venture Services Group at Robertson Stephens Investment Bank.

He has lived in Senegal studying rural farming practices, taught skiing in Colorado and spent 40 nights on an Alaskan glacier — all experiences that have shaped his vision for AngelPoints. His dedication to community service includes leading adventure-based wilderness trips for high-risk youths and sponsoring a student at UC San Francisco.

Andy graduated from Macalester College with a B.A. in English, holds an M.A. from the University of Colorado and received a doctoral fellowship from the University of California, Berkeley.

Reade Frank | COO

Reade has been the COO for AngelPoints since 2002. Prior to joining AngelPoints, Reade led the Marketing and Corporate Development team for Destiny WebSolutions, an Internet consulting firm focused on financial services. While at Destiny, Reade was instrumental in securing top clients and growing the business approximately 200% per year. Prior to Destiny, Reade worked for Chemical Securities in corporate finance and received his B.A. from Yale University. Among Reade’s numerous volunteer activities, he is actively involved with his high school’s regional alumni committee.

Stephane Giraudie | VP of Product

Stephane brings his commitment to client-centered design and his background in web-based software development to build next generation corporate sustainability and social responsibility products. Upon joining AngelPoints, he designed, built and launched the world’s first Corporate Personal Sustainability solution in partnership with Saatchi and Saatchi S, based on their groundbreaking success in this area.

Previously, Stephane was the founder and Chief Product Officer of Papilia, a web-based communication, fundraising and social-networking software company that helped nonprofits raise more money by helping donors understand the difference their gifts make. Stephane has helped raise millions of dollars online for organizations such as the United Nations World Food Program, Family Violence Prevention Fund and DC Central Kitchen. Prior to starting Papilia, Stephane worked primarily in the area of digital photography through his work at Live Picture (later MGI Software). His team built and brought to market dozens of enterprise and consumer software products for companies like Kodak, Fuji and Warner Bros. For their innovations, they were recognized two years in a row with the prestigious “Company to Watch” award at DEMO.

Carl Gottlieb | VP of Engineering

Carl brings more than 16 years of engineering and software experience to his role as Vice President of Engineering at AngelPoints. Throughout his career, Carl has developed a strong record of leading Agile teams and developing state of the art web applications. Prior to joining AngelPoints, Carl served in a variety of technical roles. Most recently, Carl was the Senior Software Engineer at Bridger Commercial Funding where he was responsible for directing the team’s Agile processes as well as leading development of Bridger’s flagship web application, BLIS.

Carl holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Cornell University. He worked as a volunteer at the Exploratorium and regularly volunteers with the Marin County Open Space District and Marin Academy.
